Morocco's Ergs

A starting ground for all desert enthusiasts. A variety of amazing ergs are to be found in Morocco and its neighboring countries. They are often refered to as the sandboxes for European overlanders and so popular due to their easy access as a place for hibernation.

Empty Quarter
Winter / spring 2024/25
Covering the Southern third of the Arabian peninsula, the Empty Quarter is the second largest sand desert in the world and the queen among the desert adventurers' playgrounds. A trip is always combined with visits to the UAE and Oman and possibly soon to the KSA.

Uyuni Salt Flats
Panamericana 2026-28
These Bolivian salt flats are a must see on the Panamericana. During the wet season it transforms to a mirror and brings the blue sky even closer. It's a marvelous desert, but the Altiplano is not deserted. Meet the friendly people and listen to their captivating stories.

Namib Desert

Not the largest, but likely the oldest desert in the world, a Namib desert expedition is the ne plus ultra in both desert (dunes upto 300m) and safari experiences. We plan it either as an exclusive Namibia discovery tour or combined with a South Africa round trip proceeding to the neighboring Kalahari desert.

Karakoram Hwy

Also known as the N-35 or KKL, this 1'300 KM route is connecting Pakistan to the acient silk road and offers dramatic sceneries in altitudes up to 4'700M and an abundance of friendly people. Although it may be classified as "difficult" it is certainly a rewarding journey with lifetime experiences and memories.

The crown of the silk road is the part through the Pamir mountains. The Dalton Highway is arguably the loneliest road on earth. Crossing Alaska from south to north we will reach close to the Arctic Ocean after several days of wilderness. But once we have reached Deadhorse at Prudhoe Bay, the adventure just begins. Curious how far further West we will reach completely offroad.

During Panamericana 2028
Once we cross the strait of Magelan the ultimate expedition to the continent's southernmost region at Tierra del Fuego has started. For most travelers the Panamericana ends in Ushuaia, we will push the envelop and target to reach latitude 55°S while soaking up local culture and landscapes at Fin del Mundo.

The Ultimate Scotland Experience
Starting with some major must-sees on the way to the ferry in Den Haag, we will soon reach our target destination Scotland. Going beyond borders in Scotland means reaching the northern most cliffs as well as the edges of Isle of Skye and Isle of Mull. The summer will be long enough to spend also at least 4-5 weeks exploring (Northern) Ireland.

By mid March we plan to reach the Nordcap at freezing winter temperatures, but not all in the dark. On the way, we will take the best of Sweden and Norway. By May we ship to Iceland for the ultimate nature and extreme off-road experience. Late summer brings us back, but not without exploring Denmark.

North Asia & Middle East Expedition
This will become the ultimate overlander expedition. We aim to reach Mongolia through Russia and Kazakhstan. Subject to permission and the right crew, we'll attempt to drive to Chamchatka, the vulcano half-island and northeastern-most territory of the Asian continent. On the way back we navigate along the old silk road on the Pamir Highway. Finally, we will explore Iran and pass winter on the Arabian Peninsula with extensive desert adventures as well as fantastic photo opportunities in Dubai & Abu Dhabi. The icing on the cake - inshallah - will be the exploration of Saudi Arabia, going beyond borders where Overlanders have (hardly) never been.

We ship to Halifax and start to "collect" the beauties of North America, one by one. Only guided by the weather and the seasons our way will go along the route, but seldom ON the Panamerican Highway. Then we are up for off-road adventures and meeting the indigenous people, want to listen to their amazing stories and whenever possible bring some happiness.
